Don't u think mr.a is very branded?
He wears a paul smith shirt. Ray Ban sunglass. Burberry wallet. Emporio armani watch. Now, I feel as if he's very high class. I dunno eversince when he's branded.. But when he's like this, it makes me feel as if, I can't keep up with him. He has too much expensive stuffs already. I mean, expensive stuffs do last.. but they are very costly as well. The most expensive thing that I splurge in my life is just Escada perfumes. Buying perfume for less than $100 is ok already for me.. or maybe Swatch watch.. for like below $150.
But this mr.a.. he shops for the very high end kind of brand. For example.. You cant compare a levi's wallet with Burberry's wallet. Though both are branded. But the cost is still not the same. A levi's wallet will hardly stand a chance to be compared with burberry's wallet. The level of brand is not the same. I just feel as if its hard to keep up if he keeps on wearing branded stuff. I mean, it makes me feel as if I'm not that same level as him. I'm not fit for him. That I can't also be as branded as him. I once bought him this Top man shirt.. it cost like $29.. but its on offer lah. So what is the worth of a Topman's shirt compared to a Paul Smith's shirt? Topman is not even close. It's too cheap for mr.a.. And, I dun see him wearing the shirt, okay la.. I only see him wore it once. Only once..
Last time, 5 years ago.. yes.. I was kindda branded. I do admit. Bought Levi's, Esprit, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Forever 21, Joop. To me, these are already branded.. and its hard to keep up with it. And till today, these branded stuffs do last in my cupboard. However, when I enter poly life.. I began to learn to shop at a place call the bugis street. Everything is $10 or even cheaper. There, it seems like to be my shopping paradise. so I start being the budget girl. Haha. But now, since mr.a is like this. I dunno whether to keep up with mr.a's pace or just be my normal self.. i.e.. continue shopping for cheap stuffs. Plus, I was even wondering.. his expensive stuffs did he really buy it or his ex gf bought for him. wow. she must have been damn rich la. Now, I wish.. for an expensive wallet. Not because I want to keep up with mr.a.. But partly, cos I think it's time for grown ups to have expensive stuffs. I have the cheap stuffs in my cupboard.. It's time for expensives stuff now.. to keep up with moderation.
Let's start with sumthing that I frequently use.. How about, a wallet ay? (: AGNES B! I want. How about a bag? DKNY.. I want! Shoes? LACOSTE or FRED PERRY!
After work I walked all around raffles city.. boarded the train and alighted at dhoby ghaut. Took a peek at Plaza Singapura agnes b voyage shop.. den walked all the way to Orchard Plaza, and went to OG. Scan through the GUESS wallets that's on sale.. it's now selling at about $35.90 only. Quite cheap uhs. Then I walked to 313. Take a peek at the shops around.. there's no agnes b or burberry shops.. Then I walked to Taka. and manage to take a peek at burberry, agnes b collections.. and there's also a sale at the taka foyer. Walked rounds in rounds..Again, I saw guess wallets n shoes on sale.. tempted to buy. But I resisted the temptations. Then went to metro paragon.. walked rounds and rounds to see wallets and bags. And nuthing caught my eye. In my mind.. I still want agnes b or burberry.. it seems like the best option so far. So, I visited the agnes b at isetan - wisma atria.. plus DKNY n GUESS stuffs. Also, I visited Havaianas shop at istean and Ion. I wanted to get the slipper, but dun have my size. Then I went to DFS galleria. OMG. The things there very very damn ex. Hermes wallet cost as much as $2000.++ I am not joking. Since aunty has this 25% to 30% discount card.. I thought I could like buy an expensive wallet for myself. But whoaaa. Buying the brands is costly. Damn damn costly.
And last but not least.. I make my way to the Isetan Shaw Centre.. And this is where I made up my mind that I wanted that Agnes B wallet badly. Met Lynn and Aunty Zee at the Isetan. This is all an unplanned meet up eventually. When I told aunty about my idea of buying new wallet.. Aunty was like reminding me,.. that she has a new wallet that she can gave it to me instead of me waste money n buying one. But then again, its different when you are using sumthing that you buy.. as comparedto sumthingt that was given to you. The sentimental values is kindda different you know. Oh wells, I dun want to argue further. Once aunty said goodbye to me n Lynn. Both of us sit at mc cafe while having Mango smoothie and some supper. We talked and shared about.. anything under the sun. Meet up with Lynn and Wirna again tmr.. but I dun think I can join.
Surprisingly today, I didn't shop for clothes or shoes or bags or wallets or pants. YAY! However, these are the things that I wanna so get... and include them in my wishlist.
