♥ Last Minute Bbq. ♥

Only at lunch time I asked Shirley, meet where and what time. So yah.. I met mardiya and fadlinah first at toa payoh 6.30pm. Lucky I still have their number in my hp. I've lost touch with them eversince the sec school days are over.. Other people attending would be shukri's sec 4 classmates. But hey, i hardly know them. And now I even decided to go alone. Because of this gathering for Shukri, I think I just have to mingle around.
We went around looking for presents. I sort of know what to get.. CLOTHES! He often go out on weekends nowadays. But at toa payoh.. what present can we get? I saw this giordano.. brown top- topman look alike. The material is good & nice though. But fadlinah was like, baju nie colour tk lawa.. baju nie mcm bapak2. & mardiya was like trust fadlinah, she knows best. They said when they think of Shukri, they think of him as the green guy. But come on lah, I'm sure if you get other colours.. as long as its nice he dun mind kan. He told me before that eventhough he likes green, not necessary get for him green stuffs.Ok, fine.. in the end we got him Giordano voucher, merci chocolate & ferrero rocher. I just go with the flow and chip in.
Shirley finished work late.. met her at 7.30pm, bought bbq stuffs at NTUC.. and haha! We carry all those charchoal, bottles of drinks, hotdogs, chicken wings, etc all the way to Shirley's aunt condo at Thomson. And we did all that by bus. Strong sey we girls.. Shirley's friend, yuen.. drove shukri to the condo. & from there we girls surprised him with a b'day cake. He didn't know I was there.. He didn't know the rest of us was there. Cos he thought, it would just be shirley, him and yuen. Lols. You've got punk'ed! Hehehe.
When he cuts the cake, people was like asking him to make a wish first. He said it out loud.. "My birthay wish is to find a good girlfriend" .. My heart is saying, yarr rite. Haha. After cutting the cake, what shukri did was.. amongst mardiya, me and fadlinah.. he served me the cake first. And when I wanted to go to the toilet, i need someone to accompany me. Not brave sey.. So I ask this shirley along. Its so happen shukri also wanted to go to toilet and he ask yuen along. Padahal Shuk just went to the toilet alone. Next is, me, Fadlinah and Mardiya were eating together, and Shukri was like "Aku duduk dengan korang ah". From there, Mardiya and Fadlinah exchanged stories with Shukri. Mardiya ask Shukri if he's in NS - army. Shukri ask Mardiya what she is working as. Fadlinah ask Shukri if he's taking license. Shukri ask Fadlinah she studying where and major in what.. But as for me, Shukri doesn't even hv to ask what I am currently doing now.. cos he already know. And his answers to all the questions they asked him, I know.
Me: When did shirley ajak u guys for this bbq?
Fadlinah: Only yesterday.
Me: Den you usually get birthday present for him?
Fadlinah: No, this is our first time.
Me: Okay. Den you Mardiya.. When Shirley ask you?
Mardiya: Shirley ajak Rabi to ajak us.. Im not even in their sec 4 class.
Me: Ooohs. Mardiya: I don't even know why I came.. We are not close to him right?
Fadlinah: No.
Mardiya: Sara's also not close to him also right?
I kept quiet. Me and Mardiya same class in sec school. Eversince sec 1, I've always has this firasat that she had SOMETHING for Shukri. Oh wells* The thing is, whatever happened today.. only Shirley knows me and Shukri are close friends. But for others like Mardiya and Fadlinah.. that guy likes to keep low profile. The bbq ended past midnight.. and Me, Mardiya, Fadlinah, Shukri took the same cab hm. In the cab, Shukri told the driver to send home Mardiya first, then Fadlinah.. and lastly followed by me. That guy knew what he is doing.. all he wanted to do is to send me under my block, like he always does when we went out. Haha. Me and him avoid whatever conversations we had until the 2 girls alight from the taxi. See what I mean? We hv to pretend that we hardly know each other..
Shukri: Fadlinah, Mardiya.. When your birthday?
Sara: You just remember 15 (You), 15 (Fad) and 28 (Me), 28 (Mardiya).
Mardiya: Fadlinah 15 Sept. I'm 28 May. Sara's 28 dec.
Sara: Yeah, I'm the youngest.
Fadlinah: Haha. If you're born few days later.. you won't be here.
Lols. I still want to get him a present! A very own personal present. Clothes it shall be! Not nice lah, he bought for me presents during my birthday where as now, his birthday.. I'm sharing presents with the other girls. I know I may be broke now.. ):
